#287 - Siemens Project Server Tips

Here are some tips for setting up the Siemens Project Server:

From Project Server Administration:

- Ensure there is connection to the Project Server. From here it is possible to manage the projects and to perform actions such as the removal of projects (after removal of all local sessions to that project), and restoring a previous version of a project.

From TIA Portal:

- Go to the Project Server settings and ensure the URL and port number to the server are correct.

Note that the Network profile can be changed from Fast to Slow if the site connectivity is slow, to avoid timeout issues.

- On Project > Project Server > Manage server projects is possible to add a new project to the Project Server or to create a local session to an existing project.

- Note that some changes, such as Hardware or folder structure changes, must be done in the Server Project View:
