#294 - AVEVA InTouch Getting started and restoring a project

- Download and install the AVEVA in order, for example: 2023R2, 2023R2 SP1 and 2023R2 SP1 P03.

- Set the three main programs that are going to be used (Application Manager, InTouch HMI WindowMaker, and InTouch HMI WindowViewer) to be run in administrator mode (right-click properties > Compatibility tab > Tick Run this program as an administrator).

- Import the backup files (i.e., restore the project from .aaPKG files) from the Application Manager, by clicking on the magnifying glass (Find Application):

Note: The project backups can be placed at the default path: C:\Users\Public\Wonderware\Intouch Applications. During the restoration process, the project files will be populated with different files and, if required, the project will be automatically upgraded to the current AVEVA version.
