#293 - Windows How to increase drive partitions

- Delete the snapshot partitions in the Snapshot Manager, if the Expand disk capacity is disabled.

- Increase the disk size with the VM powered off, for example from 150GB to 50GB.

- Open command line as administrator and execute the following commands:

C:\Windows\System32>diskpart DISKPART> list disk Disk ### Status Size Free Dyn Gpt -------- ------------- ------- ------- --- --- Disk 0 Online 200 GB 49 GB * DISKPART> select disk DISKPART> select disk 0 DISKPART> list partition Partition ### Type Size Offset ------------- ---------------- ------- ------- Partition 1 System 100 MB 1024 KB Partition 2 Reserved 16 MB 101 MB Partition 3 Primary 149 GB 117 MB Partition 4 Recovery 710 MB 149 GB DISKPART> select partition 4 DISKPART> delete partition override DiskPart successfully deleted the selected partition. The C drive is therefore next to the new partition to be extended.

- Extend C drive from Disk Management.
