#276 - Rockwell PLC Simulator (FactoryTalk Logix Echo)

- There are different methods of connecting to the PLC Simulator, either by creating the Controller or by importing the Controller from a project (ACD file).

Note that the IP can be set as localhost (127.0.0.1) or the IP of the network cards.

- It is necessary to see reach the device from the FactoryTalk Linx.

If the connection is not automatically established to the Emulated PLC (which must be in RUN mode), it is possible to add an IP range in the settings, to help find the correct path.

- After the device can be seen in the FactoryTalk Linx, download the project to the Emulated CPU from the Studio5000. The CPU must be set in REM mode in the FactoryTalk Logix Echo.

- When downloading to an IP it may be necessary to add a secondary IP to the NIC. Here below an example:
