#193 - AVEVA System Platform license manager

- The License Manager can be found at: AVEVA and then Enterprise License Manager or via Web browser at: pc-name.AELicenseManager

- At the AE License Manager it is possible to add a license (.XML), activate/deactivate them.

- Select the activation mode: Online (connected to internet) vs. Offline (it has to be activated to AVEVA website > License Activation > upload the generated send.sync file and take the receive.sync file to the offline machine).

- Check that the services are running:

- Offline activation: https://licenseactivation.wonderware.com/

Complete the process with the send and rcv files.

- At the configurator it is possible to edit the type of license (Perpetual or Flex). The mode takes effect after the PC is restarted.

- Second method using a .loc file (e.g. Advstd.loc):

Close the runtime and then paste the file in the following location. C:\ProgramData\AVEVA\Licensing\LocalLicensePool When done, delete the previous file (if applicable) and restart the runtime.

Note: There are two types of license the Flex and Non-Flex.
