From InTouch Application Manager it is helpful to manipulate .CSV files for the tags declaration and edit through the DBLoad and DBDump functions.
- Backup the project from Application Manager (Export function).
- Click on DBDump to export a .CSV stored in the project folder (e.g., C:\Users\Public\Wonderware\Intouch Applications\my project).
- Open the DB.CSV file in Excel.
- Edit and save the file.
Notes:
- The mode is set at the first cell of the file, for example Ask, Replace, Update. When loading the first cell can be changed from :mode=ask to :mode=update.
- Variables are grouped by type. Some useful types to quickly jump to the relevant areas are: :IOReal, :IODisc, :IOInt, :MemoryDisc, :MemoryInt.
- Notes: The main differences between the IO Server and the Client Server are these fields:
IO Server: AlarmState (None/On), AccessName (that is the name of the Device Group configured in the OCMC driver connection), ItemUseTagname (No). For analog values, there are different alarm states (e.g., LoLoAlarmState, etc).
Client Server: AlarmState (None), AccessName (SERVERS_ACCESS), ItemUseTagname (Yes).
