#243 - AVEVA Citect How to import the GPL

To import the GPL in Citect follow these steps:

- Create the Tag in PLC:

Example of DINPUT tag: NC10_BS_DINPUT

Create the DINPUT_ST tag: NC10_BS_DINPUT_ST, and enable its HMI

- Add the PLC (IO device) in the project

- Edit the auto imported tags by adding the char 'W' as a suffix. Note that it adds the device name set in the OFS as a prefix (e.g. M580_).

- In the graphics, create a new instance of SGC_dinput Genie with this tag: M580_NC10_BS.

- Edit these two .DBF files that are in the project folder (C:\ProgramData\AVEVA\Citect SCADA 2018 R2\User\MyProject):

ADVALM.DBF

VARIABLE.DBF

Open them in Microsoft Access, edit the fields, save as DBFIII.
